The Varsity Cardigan draws from old collegiate knits and the kind of well-worn team sweaters that picked up character season after season. Navy is broken up by gold striping at the sleeve and cuffs, while contrast elbow patches bring in a familiar academic feel. Braided knit panels frame the shoulders, adding texture without overtaking the simplicity of the body.

 

Three front pockets give the cardigan an almost utility-minded finish: two oversized pleated waist pockets with gold trim and a smaller chest pocket. Subtle fading throughout softens the navy and gives the knit the look of a piece already lived in.
