The Double Breasted Short Overcoat takes cues from traditional country outerwear, rendered in a forest wool plaid of deep green, brown, ochre, and muted red. Its broad, abbreviated shape gives the familiar double-breasted coat a less formal attitude, while the oversized scale of the check keeps the pattern at the center of the piece.

 

A removable self-fabric belt can be worn loose or drawn in to change the silhouette. Large patch pockets, buttoned cuff tabs, and a rear storm flap carry through the practical language of old field and motoring coats.
